Welcome to Dynamic Spinal Stretching for flexibility and rehabilitation

I appreciate your curiosity and interest in learning about Stick Stretching for yourself and your patients.  I am committed to serve you in sharing my passion and life work of stretching my own body with sticks, over the past 30 years.

I am excited to pass on my knowledge, awareness, and experiences of this new and unlimited stretching model.  I feel this Chiropractors seminar is about you personally experiencing spinal stretching education using your extremities, and a stick to enhance learning about gravity and posture.

This course is designed for you to learn new motor skills with attention placed on balanced postures and alignment training, using sticks for physical support and leverage.  I am emphasizing range of motion exercises for the spine, rib cage, and extremities, with the aid of Stick Technology.

During the course of hands on Stick Stretching exercises, our attention will be on correct postures and balanced physical attitudes, as we apply angles, curves, and circles on the ground and in space, using 6 foot long sticks.  You will learn a new and innovative approach to spinal health, body awareness, and stretching mechanics, using a stick for balance, support, and as an extended lever.

Dynamic Spinal Stretching blends basic principles from yoga, tai chi, and resistance training, with the use of a stick(s) as a prop and leverage tool.  You will discover for yourself how to utilize a stick(s) to more easily and effortlessly stretch your shoulders, rib cage, spine, and hips, more than you thought possible using gravity and leverage.

We will practice by repetition, symmetrical spinal and extremity warm-ups.  Specific standing stretches with a stick(s) will include dynamic and static postures, for flexibility, toning, and rehabilitation.  With the assistance of an outside prop/stick, we will learn how to create unlimited exercises/postures to choose from for flexibility, strengthening, or rehabilitating.

I will compare the current and popular types of stretching to the Stick Stretching model.  You will experience for yourself the personal value and benefits that are available with the stick principles applied correctly and intelligently.

Throughout the day, we will practice static stretches and invigorating movements that animate the spinal column and extremities toward increased range of motion and better alignment with fun and ease.
